The site has several entrances (the main one being at 6 cours Albert Thomas), but the more convenient ones are:

  • Workshops and tutorials (Monday 10th, Friday 14th): access by the entrance at 6 rue du Professeur Rollet (yellow mark on google map below), then registration at Salon des Symboles
  • Main conference (Tuesday 11th to Thursday 13th): access by the entrance at 16 rue du Professeur Rollet (cyan mark on google map below), then registration at Auditorium Malraux

Access

Bus

The Campus is served by subway lines D at stop Sans Souci or bus lines 9, 23, 36 and 69 at stop Manufacture des Tabacs. You can download the Lyon transportation map.

Please note that a bus ticket (1.70 €) is valid one (1) hour from the first use. You can combine bus, subway and tramway with the same ticket (within a limit of one (1) hour).

Road

Lyon’s geographic location at the heart of a motorway network of more than 1 000 km puts it at less than 2 hours from the large towns and cities in the region. 1h 30min from Geneva, and 2 hours from Clermont-Ferrand and the Alps, 3 hours from Turin and Marseille, 4 hours from Paris and 6 hours from Barcelona.

Air

Lyon-Saint Exupéry is the French airport with the largest number of routes outside Paris, with 27 French towns and cities connected by daily scheduled flights, 43 scheduled international routes, 19 charter routes and 7 cargo routes (winter programme). Part Dieu TGV Station is 30 minutes from the airport Lyon-Saint Exupéry multimodal station. From Lyon Saint-Exupery Airport, take the tramway RhôneExpress (http://www.rhonexpress.fr/) for Part-Dieu TGV station which runs every 20 min.

Train

With two stations in the town center, Part-Dieu and Perrache, and a third at Lyon Saint Exupery Airport, the TGV high-speed train network puts Lyon today at the heart of Europe.

The Campus is 20 minutes from Part-Dieu TGV station and 30 minutes from Perrache station. TGV trains run between Lyon and Paris every hour or every half hour.
